On the other hand, I will bet you know someone (and are probably a little suspicious of) who always seems confident, always looks forward to a new challenge, and always expects the best. What's the difference? Luck? No. Money? No. The difference is an understanding that each day is going to pass with or without you accomplishing anything, its up to you. Successful people face challenges just like you do: I have had many aches and pains, catch colds just like you do, and have had many people not do what they promised. Nobody ever said life would be easy, but that doesn't mean it cant be fun, too.

It took me a long time to learn how to be successful. Now my passion is helping others, creating a legacy my family can be proud of, and experiencing as many challenges as possible. You cannot convince me that you can't do better than I am doing. After all, you've had a bunch of birthdays so far and, if luck holds out, you'll have many more. Each birthday can be just like the most recent one, you can feel down because you are not doing better or it can be a celebration of what you have accomplished so far and a look forward to even better days. I know you have heard it said before, but it is up to you!

What are you interested in? Flying? Fishing? Yoga? Scuba Diving? Bicycling? Gardening? Cooking? Body Building? Traveling? Whatever your interest is, the opportunity is there for you to take.

The best and most fun times are often either very inexpensive or free. You don't have to travel the world, stay in expensive hotels, buy cars or otherwise spend all of your money on stuff. The best moments I have tend to be those that are the simplest. There is something extra special about walking along a trail in the mountains, where it is peaceful, the air is fresh, the birds are singing, and the views are amazing.

Everyone values time with family, especially when doing something fun. I love spending time with my wife. We have date night every Saturday. We get something to eat and watch a movie. We have a good time and it is very inexpensive.

One of the good things about having extra money is the people you can help. We all realize the needs of the world and the many people who need our help. There are thousands of children that die each day because of starvation and many other issues that need our attention. Many times we think our situation is so bad, but trust me, there are always people in tougher situations than us. The greatest joy is to wake up in the morning and to think about helping other people and not to think of your own needs. I know many times people have those charitable thoughts buried deep within them. Remember the more you give, the more you will receive.

So what is the point of this article? The point is success can give you the freedom to do the things you only dream about now. Along the way to becoming successful you will realize money and material things are not as important as you once thought. Often times it is the small and free things that will give you the greatest joys in life.

So look ahead now, make a detailed list of all that you want to accomplish someday, both big and small, then spend each day working towards those goals.
